We originally bought 2 full sets of these. After a month 2 plates cracked when taking out of the dishwasher, So we bought another set not realising we could buy the plates individually.Since then another 3 plates broke, 1 while the kids were cutting a pizza on it.We haven’t had problems like this with other cheaper plates we have had over the years and decided to go to Next and pay a little more as we have found cheaper plates glaze scratched easily with use and thought these would be of a better quality but unfortunately and to our expense they were not.I did google if anyone else had problems but could find nothing so bit the bullet and bought this set of 4 and have come to the conclusion that -- You must let the plates completely cool before taking out of the dishwasher.- Don’t let the kids cut pizzas on them!After another month we hadn’t had any more broken plates but have found the glaze does scratch with use all be it less so than others.Next time we will pay even more and go for Denby which I know we’re good when we had them 25years ago!
